Video of Sabac fight: Man with broken leg can't get up, gets battered, then young man runs in

A video of a fight that took place in Sabac in broad daylight has appeared in the media and on social networks. As can be seen from security camera footage, the dramatic scenes happened at 15:35 in the city center.

The video first shows two men in front of a bar, waiting for a third. The third man shows up half a minute later and the two leave. Within a few seconds, they turn around and start hitting a man they had previously said goodbye to. He first defends himself while being beaten with hands and feet. Then he tries to escape, but falls and the beating continues as he is lying on the ground.

At one point, the man gets up, but he soon hits the concrete with his face after an blow from behind. Shortly afterwards, a younger man seems to run out of the bar or the passage next to it, and knocks down all three, one of whom was already sitting on the asphalt. Just then, the injured man tries to get up, but cannot. As the Police Administration of Sabac told Telegraf.rs, he suffered severe bodily injuries in the fight - his lower leg was broken in two places.

The video also shows a large number of people gathering, disturbed by the physical clash. Some of them try to help the injured man get up, but he gives up.

Another video taken from another angle also appeared, showing a younger man who had previously defended the beaten man. As we have learned unofficially, he is the nephew of the victim. The video shows that the clash is still going on, but this time with several mediators who trying to separate the men.

Before the video was published by Podrinske, it was announced that the police in Sabac had arrested V.M. (41) and M.S. (58) on suspicion that they committed the crime of inflicting grievous bodily harm, and that it is suspected that on the afternoon of December 31, in front of a bar in Sabac, they physically attacked and struck several times with their hands and feet in the area of ​​the head and body a 46-year-old man, and then fled the scene.

The suspects, along with a criminal complaint, were brought before the competent prosecutor's office.

According to the latest information we received from the Sabac Police, their detention has been extended to 30 days.
