Police find 43 packages of drugs, arsenal of arms in Belgrade apartment: Photos behind the arrest

Members of the Ministry of the Interior (MUP), the Service for the Fight against Organized Crime, seized about 11 kilograms of marijuana as well as weapons and arrested 39-year-old D.M. on suspicion that he committed criminal offenses of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotics and illicit production, possession, carrying and trafficking in weapons and explosives.

During the search of the apartment and other premises in Belgrade where the suspect was staying, the police seized marijuana packed in 43 packages, as well as an automatic rifle, two pistols, a silencer, a hand grenade and a number of pieces of ammunition.

The suspect is being detained for up to 48 hours and will be brought before the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade along with a criminal complaint.
