Residents in nursing homes in Belgrade and Novi Sad will also be vaccinated today
Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabic, Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Dr. Darija Kisic-Tepavcevic, and epidemiologist Dr. Predrag Kon were today the first to receive Pfizer vaccines against coronavirus, that arrived in our country on Tuesday.
In addition to them, residents in nursing homes in Belgrade and Novi Sad will also be vaccinated today, and tomorrow in Nis as well.
4,875 doses of the vaccine arrived in the first shipment.
They were transported from Belgrade's Nikola Tesla airport in a cold chain to the Torlak Institute for Virology, Vaccines and Serums, where they are stored.
Dr. Kisic-Tepavcevic said today that she wants to prove with her example that the Pfizer vaccine is effective and stressed that they represent the light at the end of a long tunnel.
