Video from scene of terrible Belgrade blast, body still in front of RTS: Worker describes accident
A part of the city near the Radio-Television of Serbia (RTS) building was blocked after this morning's explosion in which one person was killed and two were injured.
A Telegraf.rs crew is at the scene. The body of the worker who died is still in front of the RST building.
The explosion happened this morning at around 10 o'clock in Aberdaredova Street, as workers of the Ening Energetika company were carrying bottles of industrial gas out of a car, when one of the bottles exploded. The workers were supposed to fix the the air conditioning system in the broadcaster's building.
The detonation was so strong that the building was damaged, its windows got shuttered, and several cars were completely demolished.
Worker M.P., who was pulling out the injured and the dead man after today's explosion in Aberdareva Street, told some horrible details of the accident.
"The man who died was completely blown apart by the force of the explosion. His head a part of his body were missing. The other one was seriously injured. He also had massive injuries to his head," a visibly shaken worker told Informer.
