Highest number of new coronavirus cases in one day so far in Serbia: Almost 8,000; 48 more deaths

In the last 24 hours coronavirus was confirmed in 7,999 people, and at the same time 48 patients died as a result of Covid.
22,837 people were tested of which 35.03 percent were positive.
There are 269 patients on ventilator.

So far, a total of 1,800,419 have been tested in Serbia, of which 183,437 have been positive.
Hospitality industry establishments and service facilities will be able to stay open only until 5 pm on weekdays, and must stay closed on weekends. This is one of the new measures in the fight against coronavirus proposed by the Crisis HQ which the government will, as Tanjug has learned, adopt at its session on Thursday.
The new measures will take effect on Friday.
