Highest single-day Covid death toll in Serbia yet, 41 people die, 7,579 new cases

In the last 24 hours coronavirus has been confirmed in 7,579 more people, while at the same time 41 patients died from the Covid disease.

22,231 people got tested during the past day.

The percentage of those infected relative to the number of tests performed (data covering the last 24 hours) is 34.09 percent.

223 people are currently connected to ventilators.

The total death toll since the start of the epidemic is now 1,315.

The mortality rate is 0.93 percent.

6,579 people are currently hospitalized.

So far, there have been 140,608 confirmed coronavirus cases in Serbia, while as many as 1,682,416 people have been tested.
