Victim of 3rd Belgrade ambush laid to rest: Bojan buried in expensive tomb near Strahinja Stojanovic
Bojan M. (34), who was killed last Thursday in an ambush staged in the New Belgrade neighborhood of Belleville, was buried today in the Bezanija Cemetery.
One of the friends of the murdered man gave a speech in which he reminded that the family comes from Kosovo and Metohija, and that they hoped for his further education and marriage, Kurir writes.
The murder victim is linked with members of Skaljari Clan, a Montenegrin crime group, and the recently killed "Pink Panther" Aleksandar Sarac, who died less than a month ago in the Usce shopping mall.
He had gone shopping and parked his BMW in the garage when he spotted an unknown assailant, who chased him. Likely wanting to save himself, he ran towards the elevator, but the killer caught up with him and shot him with several times in the head and body.
The attacker and the crime were caught on surveillance cameras in the garage, but he allegedly wore a mask. When an ambulance arrived at the crime scene the victim was still alive, but passed away soon after.
The murder of Bojan M. is the third ambush that has taken place in New Belgrade over the past month. Aleksandar Sarac was killed on October 17. Two weeks later, on November 3, former leader of Partizan FC supporters Nenad "Alibeg" Alajbegovic was seriously wounded in front of the building where he lives.
As Alo previously wrote, Bojan M. will be buried in a tomb that his family paid 2.1 million dinars for. The expensive tomb is located near the church, not far from the grave of Strahinja Stojanovic, whose BMW was blown up with 1.5 kilos explosives in Belgrade in September. Bojan's family and friends said goodbye to him yesterday with moving messages in obituaries.
His girlfriend Kaca also published an obituary.
