Again more than 2000 new cases, 10 people die from corona: Record in Belgrade and in number of tests

In the last 24 hours, coronavirus was confirmed in 2,282 people, and at the same time, 10 patients died as a result of this disease.

A record 12,947 people have been tested, with 17.63 percent being positive.

74 patients breathe with the help of mechanical ventilation.

There are 2,307 patients in hospitals. In the day behind us, another 317 patients were hospitalized while 147 were discharged.

Record broken in Belgrade

The largest number of infected people is in Belgrade, and today's figure is the largest in the Serbian capital so far in one day - 1,144.

In Novi Sad, the virus was confirmed in the last 24 hours in 219 people, in Kraljevo in 60, in Nis in 50 and in Vranje in 32. The infection was diagnosed in Zrenjanin in 29 people, in Pancevo there are 25 new cases, in Sremska Mitrovica 22, in Ljubovija 20, while other cities and municipalities have had less than 20 new cases each in the last 24 hours.

During these eight months, coronavirus was confirmed in 57,958 people in Serbia out of a total of 1,401,663 of those who got tested. It has taken 871 lives so far.
