Horror in Bosnia and Herzegovina: More than 50 people die from coronavirus in one day

In Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), not counting the Brcko District, 1,886 new coronavirus cases and 54 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours (31 in FBiH and 23 in RS) which is the highest death toll in a single day so far.

A total of 4,582 samples have been tested.

3,383 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH (FBiH) entity, of which 1,297 were positive for coronavirus.

New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH.

So far, a total of 220,869 samples have been tested in that entity, while SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 37,540 individuals.

As of today, 20,888 patients have been cured in the Federation of BiH, and over the past 24 hours, recovery has been recorded in 199 patients.

Currently, there are 15,740 active cases positive for coronavirus.

A record number of deaths has been recorded - 31, which increased the number of deaths in the FBiH to 912: 605 men and 307 women.

Earlier, it was announced that 589 new cases of coronavirus infection and 23 deaths had been confirmed in the Serb Republic entity over the previous 24 hours.
