Masks outdoors are not mandatory! Dr Kisic tell Telegraf.rs: For now, it is only a recommendation
Protective masks, after all, are not mandatory outdoors; instead, this is only a recommendation, Dr. Darija Kisic Tepavcevic, an epidemiologist and deputy director of the Batut Institute of Public Health of Serbia, has told Telegraf.rs.
"Masks in the open space are at the level of recommendations at this moment," said Dr. Kisic Tepavcevic, in a written message for our portal.
Wearing masks indoors was obligatory for less than an hour, considering that this morning, after the session of the Crisis HQ, it was said that they were obligatory outside as well.
"Masks should be worn by everyone, constantly and on every occasion, including in open spaces. To encourage each other to use this measure, bearing in mind that it is extremely effective. Masks are obligatory, and we should all wear them, everywhere and constantly," Professor Dr. Kisic Tepavcevic said after the session.
This morning, due to the current epidemiological situation in Serbia which has been deteriorating in the last few days, the Crisis HQ for the fight against Covid 19 met in Belgrade.
The issuing of special permits for celebrations has been suspended, and there must be persons responsible for the implementation of measures in service facilities. Also, the temporary hospital in the Belgrade Arena will start working again on Monday.
