Alarming: More than 200 cases once again in Serbia, 1 dead, most hospitalized patients since Sept. 2
6,428 people have been tested for coronavirus in Serbia over the past 24 hours, of which 245 were positive, while one more person died.
There are 22 patients on ventilators.
A total of 768 people have died so far.
80 patients are hospitalized, which is the largest number since September 2.
Kragujevac and Valjevo in second place
Belgrade still has the most new cases, 84, followed by Kragujevac and Valjevo with 23 each. Nis today counted 9 new cases, Vranje 7, Novi Sad and Krusevac 6 each, Vrnjacka Banja 5, Bor, Cuprija, Aleksandrovac and Prijepolje 4 each.
Relative to the number of people tested, 3.81 percent were infected.
So far 1,213,404 people have been tested, 35,251 of them positive.
The Crisis HQ is appealing on citizens to respect measures, above all to wear masks because the current situation is not headed in a good direction.
Regional countries break records
Three countries in the region today broke the record in the number of new cases. Croatia reported another 748, Slovenia 707, and Bosnia and Herzegovina 476.
Montenegro still tops the list in terms of the number of people actively infected with Covid per 100,000 inhabitants, and it also has the largest number of infected people per one million inhabitants.
