Snow falls on Zlatar, Jadovnik, Zlatibor mountains: Temperature drops below zero

The rain that was falling for several hours last night turned into sleet and snow, forming a cover of a few centimeters on Zlatar and Jadovnik.

During last night, air temperature in this part of Serbia dropped below 0 Celsius for the first time. There is also snow on the roads and that is why drivers are advised to be careful.

"Everything is under control, the crews are already in the field and working on clearing up where needed. There are no traffic jams, but due to the weather conditions, drivers are still advised to be careful. We are ready for the upcoming winter season," said Leko Koricanac, director of the Putevi Uzice (Roads of Uzice) company.

Snow was falling on Zlatibor as well last night, and at higher altitudes, a snow cover has been formed.
