Seven months of coronavirus in Serbia
In these seven months, we've had one wave of the epidemic with two peaks that have come and gone, and epidemiologists says that the third peak will begin in November.
Currently, most new cases discovered on a daily basis are in Belgrade, accounting, in the last five day, for two thirds of all newly confirmed cases out of the total number published each day.
Members of the Crisis HQ for the fight against coronavirus will hold a session tomorrow at 11 am, with the only topic being the current epidemiological situation.
Compared to other countries in the region, but also elsewhere in Europe, the situation in Serbia is the best, but professionals and health authorities call for caution, because that can change at any moment.
Namely, Serbia has had 13.83 new cases per 100,000 inhabitants over the past two weeks.
Apart from the countries in the region, that is better than in Germany that's had 18.4 cases per 100,000 people, Finland with 15.5, Cyprus with 14.6 and Norway with 13.9, which are all not on the list of critical countries.
