Vucic: Name of prime minister-designate to be known in the next few days
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic says that he was grateful to Steffen Seibert, a spokesman for German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who said that everything signed in 2013 and 2015 must be implemented, but that things will not be in accordance either with "Kosovo" or Serbian rules.
"That would be impossible. We negotiated precisely because not everything is in accordance with their regulations. But if someone doesn't understand what, can I do, their messages are unclear to me. I don’t even understand political messages even though I thought I've had a lot of experience. We want to have peace and to cooperate with Albanians, but sometimes I can't understand their approach to problems. I hope that one day we will be able to be much closer to a compromise than we are today," said Vucic.
About the formation of the new government
The president of Serbia briefly touched on the question of the formation of the new government and said:
"You will get a prime minister-designate in the next few days, it seems to me, but certainly in less than seven (days)."
