The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, said last night that it is difficult to believe that mutual recognition would be achieved during the upcoming dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina in Washington, but added that "political progress" will be made at the meeting.

Haradinaj told Pristina's T7 television that all the leaders of the ruling coalition met and discussed in detail what awaits the Pristina delegation at the meeting in Washington on September 4.

"The principle of territorial inviolability. The principle of constitutionality and the Community of Serb Municipalities will not be discussed in Washington at all. It is a little hard to believe that recognition will be achieved. But there will be political progress," Haradinaj said.

According to him, the White House will demand greater progress in the dialogue from the European Union, Kosovo Online reported.

"The European Union is afraid that the White House will insist on a final agreement, but that will not be achieved. There will be great progress in mutual relations. Mainly, economic topics will be discussed," Haradinaj added.
