Montenegro will no longer require PCR and ELISA tests - if one condition is met
Dr. Boban Mugosa, the director of the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro, has told TV N1 that "mandatory PCR tests for citizens of Serbia could be abolished soon, if the health situation in Serbia continues to improve."
Currently, everyone who wants to travel to Montenegro must have either a negative PCR or a positive ELISA test.
"We do everything to make guests (tourists) be safe and feel good here. The situation in Montenegro is stable. In the last ten days, we had an average of about 50 (new) cases a day, which is not small, but we haven't had an increase and we expect this trend to begin to decline. In any case, all measures that can be taken are being taken, so that the economy survives, that is, without a new lockdown," said Mugosa.
The director of the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro noted that masks are not worn on the beach, or in national parks.
"Masks are not necessary while (sitting) at tables in hospitality establishments, but they are obligatory when entering and passing through those establishments. The limit is up to two people at one table indoors, and four people outdoors, unless they are members of the same family," he concluded.
