Starting today, it's again possible to schedule appointments for coronavirus testing: Big crowds
Other than at the Torlak Institutes, where there have been huge crowds and long queues for testing for coronavirus in recent days - both for PCR and the antibody test - this service can be performed at your own expense at the City Institute of Public Health. However, the waiting list is formed quickly, and the number of tests is limited, so all those interested must apply in time.
From the beginning of the month until today, applications were closed because all testing spots were occupied until August 20, but starting today, applications for appointments can again be submitted.
In this Institute, it's possible to schedule the taking of throat and nose swabs for Covid 19 testing (PCR) at the personal request of citizens.
This type of testing is mainly requested by those traveling internationally. The daily testing capacity is 30 people.
"Starting on August 18, citizens can schedule an appointment by sending a request via email to info@zdravlje.org.rs in which you need to provide a contact phone number to specify the time of testing. Before coming to the testing site, a payment of 6,000 dinars should be made to the bank account opened with the RFZO (Serbian state health insurance fund)," says the website of the Institute.
The government decided to change the price of testing for foreigners to 120 euros (i.e., the dinar equivalent of that sum, according to the middle exchange rate of the NBS on the day). This price will not apply to foreign citizens with permanent residence or regulated temporary residence in the Republic of Serba, nor to members of foreign diplomatic or consular missionsand members of their families (they will pay 6,000 dinars.)
It's also possible to schedule rapid serological testing for SARS-Cov-2 at personal request in the City Institute of Public Health in Belgrade.
The price of this (antibody) test is 1,200 dinars for citizens of Serbia, and 25 euros for foreigners.
Citizens can schedule an appointments on working days (Monday - Friday) from 12-13 hours, by calling 064 599 65 09 to specify the time of testing.
