Mestrovic, Deroko, Sumanovic... National Museum presents masks with motifs from works of art
The National Museum in Belgrade has posted photos of protective masks with motifs from works of art from its collection on its official Facebook page.
"New masks with motifs from works of art from the collection have arrived at the National Museum," the post said.
Details from the works of Ivan Mestrovic, Albrecht Durer, Mihajlo S. Petrov, Piet Mondrian, Aleksandar Deroko, Sava Sumanovic and many others can be seen printed on the masks.
The social media users were delighted, leaving various comments:
"I'm coming today immediately after work. I hope there will still be some left," wrote one.
"The masks are wonderful and can be worn multiple times!," added another.
"Great idea!," posted a third.
The Museum says that these are washable masks, which cost 200 dinars a piece and can be bought at the museum's gift shop, which is open during the museum exhibition space's opening hours.
That's Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from 10 am until 6 pm; and on Thursdays and Saturdays from 12 noon to 8 pm. The museum is closed on Mondays.
