Senicic reveals another country with seaside could open doors to tourists from Serbia on August 16
At today's press conference organized by Color Media Communications on the topic, "Tourism in the region in a year eaten by coronavirus," in which the Telegraf newsroom also participated, the director of JUTA, Aleksandar Senicic, revealed some news.
Bulgaria could ease the measures for our citizens , starting on August 16 and until the end of the season
"This year we mostly get calls from people about how safe it is to go somewhere abroad, and my personal position is that there is no location that is currently completely safe. There must be personal responsibilities, towards oneself and those closest to one," Senicic pointed out for Telegraf and added that a large number of people cannot replace a seaside vacation.
Bulgaria introduced a temporary ban on entry for all persons coming from Serbia, regardless of their citizenship, from July 16 to July 31.
The decision was made at that time due to the worsening of the epidemiological situation in Serbia, and it refeeds to all border crossings - air, sea, rail and land.
The exception to the ban was allowing Serbian citizens to transit through Bulgaria on their way to Serbia.
Transit is allowed only in cases when immediate departure from the territory of Bulgaria can be guaranteed, the announcement added.
