Michael Ojo dies: Former Red Star basketballer passes away during a training session!

Terrible news has hit the domestic sport, basketball, the Red Star (Crvena Zvezda) and the FMP Zeleznik clubs - Nigerian American basketballer Michael Ojo passed away today from a heart attack he suffered during individual training, the portal Direktno is reporting.

Since the termination of his contract with Red Star, Ojo has been training to keep in shape for his next club, but a terrible fate has befallen him.

As we have learned, Ojo died while working out at the Partizan stadium's rnning track.

The giant center, originally from Lagos, played for Red Star during the previous two seasons, spending one season before that in FMP Zeleznik, where he arrived from the United States.

He quickly became a favorite figure in the locker room of both Belgrade clubs, and quickly received love from the fans too, while Red Star fans especially remember him for his strong and authoritative, attractive moves and dunks.

Unfortunately, the great Ojo's momentum ended tragically.

This was his last post on Instagram, a message that seemed to herald his own tragic end:

"We are all human beings," Ojo wrote, along with a black image in support of the BLM movement.
