Mali: Government adopting a new package of economic measures today, registration is automatic

The Serbian government will today adopt a legal framework that refers to the second package of assistance for the economy, in order to mitigate the consequences of the epidemic, Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali has announced.

He said that all businesspeople who have already used the measures and are eligible will be automatically registered, so they don't have to do any additional work on this.

According to him, economic entities that were established after March 15, i.e.those that were established before July 20, will also have the right to benefit from these measures.

Mali reiterated that the new package of measures provides 60 percent of the minimum wage for workers in August and September, and that companies will be given an additional month of deferred payment of taxes and contributions on wages.

"That is about 66 billion dinars of additional aid in August and September. The state's assistance is reflected in 155 euros for each worker," the minister stated and recalled that the previous package of measures was used by 1,050,000 workers, i.e., 235,000 companies.

He said that individuals, as well as companies, will enjoy a moratorium on loan payments for another two months.

The first package of measures was worth 5.1 billion euros and included three minimum wages for workers, 100 euros for all adult citizens, and loans from the Development Fund.
