Novak Djokovic arrives in Belgrade and gets tested for coronavirus
Djokovic arrived in Belgrade from Zadar along with his family, where the second weekend of Adria Tour took place from Friday until Sunday.
It was discovered there that Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria was infected with COVID-19, so Novak and his family decided to demonstrate responsible behavior.
He got tested along with the people closest to him, while his brother Djordje has already been found to be negative, because he was spending time among the tennis players and was one of the people who were tested on Sunday night.
At that time, those who were in contact with Dimitrov were tested at the Institute of Public Health in Zadar. The final match of Adria Tour in Zadar was canceled because Dimitrov got infected.
For now, the results of the testing of the world's best tennis player are awaited. Dominic Thiem was also in contact with Dimitrov, but he tested negative, while Borna Coric was infected by the players who played in Belgrade or Zadar.
As soon as the news came about Dimitrov, Novak said that he would see the doctor as soon as he arrived in Serbia and that he would decide whether to be tested.
He decided to do it as a precaution, although he has not felt the symptoms of the virus so far.
