Video that will shock you: An empire of plastic on the Croatian coast, at only 7 meters deep

The town of Molunat in Croatia is hit by strong winds, so every year it gets a large amount of garbage that not only ends up on the beautiful beaches, but also sinks to the bottom. That's what the Sea Star diving center has said on Facebook, announcing at the same time a big clean-up campaign in that area.

Klara Ljubenko from the diving center published a video of a horrid-looking seabed, so that everyone could see how serious the situation is.

The locals of that area are also invited to participate in the campaign, Index.hr reports.

"Unfortunately, this is the reality of the bay in Molunat. This empire of plastic will require a lot of hands, we believe that everything will be cleaned up," the post on the social network said.
