"I am never completely satisfied, but our economy is strong. Without a strong economy, there is no investment and no sustainable public sector. The economy must work so that we can finance the public sector. I am happy that the payment of the minimum wage starts today, six days earlier that planned," said Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

He recalled that he was today opening a factory, and announced the opening of another one.

"Already today, 830 people are employed by Adient," he stated.

Addressing medical workers who welcomed him, he said that before the end of the year, there could be another salary increase in store for them. He also recalled that the recent increase of 10 percent is permanent.

"If the economy starts in a fast capacity, there will be another increase by the end of the year," said Vucic.

He said that it will be possible to reach Loznica from Belgrade in one hour and five minutes after roads slated for reconstruction have been finished, and new ones built.

President Aleksandar Vucic today visited Loznica, where he opened reconstructed wards of the General Hospital, as well as the new Adient plant.
