President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic today met with the ambassadors of the Quint countries - the United States, Great Britain, France, Italy and Germany and the head of the EU Delegation to Serbia, Sem Fabrizi, with whom he discussed Serbia's European integration, upcoming elections and the situation in the region.

The interlocutors concluded that it is important that elections are held in a good electoral atmosphere and that all parties have a fair campaign, as well as that as many voters as possible are motivated to turn out.

A topic of conversation was also last week's video conference between the EU and Western Balkan leaders, as well as the stalemate in the dialogue with Pristina, the rule of law, and the situation in the region.

In an open and constructive conversation, it was stressed that work should be done to achieve good neighborly relations in order to fully stabilize the political situation in the region.

The ambassadors of the Quint countries and the Head of the EU Delegation expressed satisfaction with the fight against the infectious disease COVID-19.

President Vucic thanked the EU and the US for the help we received during the pandemic, and informed the ambassadors about the economic situation and the program for economic recovery after the pandemic.
