US embassy provides 100 million dinars in aid for Serbia, Godfrey say: We will win together
The US ambassador in Belgrade, Anthony Godfrey, says that his embassy provided almost 100 million dinars (about 850,000 euros) of additional assistance to Serbia in the fight against the consequences of the Covid-19 disease.
He announced on Twitter that a part of those funds was planned as direct help to the most endangered families in Serbia to help them "get back on their feet."
"The rest of the money will be used as initial investment for companies working on innovative designs and medical and protective equipment that can be used in a future health crisis. We are fighting together with our friends in Serbia. We will win together," Godfrey said in a video statement published on this social network.
Obezbedili smo skoro 100.000.000 dinara dodatne pomoći Srbiji u borbi protiv posledica COVID-19.
