Italian shocked by carefree Serbs: "Not to lecture you, but you act as if coronavirus doesn't exist"

Partizan basketball coach Andrea Trinchieri says that the team is working hard, preparing, but that he is aware it will not be easy to continue the season.

"The situation is not easy, because the EuroCup and the EuroLeague and the ABA League are all international, and it's different in each country. And that means it won’t be easy to get everything together. We are working, getting ready and waiting for someone to tell us how, what, why and where. In America, the situation is still very difficult, everyone is in lockdown, they train at home. I'm not interested in playing 'tomorrow', but I want to know when, to start preparing. Maybe it's worth preparing for the next season. This will not be easy," Trinchieri told Partizan TV.

The Italian coach, who returned to Serbia four days ago, says that he spent his time in quarantine with his family, watching matches from the 70s, 80s, as well as TV series.

"I spent time at home, with the children, it was not difficult for me because I wanted to be careful. The situation is getting better. Every day there are fewer infected people, fewer dead, hospitals are emptying. Honestly, I wouldn't want to lecture anyone, but it frightened me that people here behave as if nothing has happened. And it has so we all have to be more careful," Trinchieri said.

The moments from his first training session, which he led in the Arena, were also interesting.
