Serbian President Vucic has phone conversation with British foreign secretary: These were the topics

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke today by phone with UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab, whom he asked to convey his heartfelt greetings to Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his best wishes as he continues to lead the British government with a renewed energy.

President Vucic and Secretary Raab discussed cooperation between the two countries in addressing the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Office for Cooperation with the Media of the President of the Republic of Serbia has announced.

Secretary Raab thanked President Vucic for his assistance in returning British citizens home from Serbia (during the pandemic crisis).

Vucic said that Serbia wants to establish strategic relations with the United Kingdom, which are especially important after the country's exit from the European Union.

The two interlocutors expressed interest in strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries as well as cooperation in other areas of common interest.
