During the Easter holidays that just passed and the 84 hours curfew, misdemeanor courts in Serbia fined 682 persons for violating a ban on movement, and together with all other misdemeanors handed down a total of 803 judgments with fines worth 41.2 million dinars.

Among those convicted only 113 are over the age of 65, who violated the ban on leaving their homes.

Among those convicted over the past weekend are three people who violated the pet walk rule, as well as four who did not comply with the ban on gatherings of more than two people in a public place.

In some cases, the fines imposed were immediately paid by the citizens, while others will likely be collected after the appeal process. The government decree lists the acts as misdemeanors for which a fine of between 50,000 and 150,000 dinars can be imposed.

In Celarevo, people were cutting down trees along with minors

A proposal will be filed to launch a misdemeanor process aganinst the minors as well due to violating the restriction and ban on movement.

In Sremska Mitrovica, a man was looking for buried treasure in the middle of curfew

A misdemeanor judge fined him 50,000 dinars.
