These are parts of Belgrade where coronavirus has exploded: You're most likely to get infected there

In Serbia, coronavirus has so far been confirmed in 4,873 people, and this calamity has claimed 99 lives in our country. The largest hotspot is Belgrade, where more than 1,495 people have been infected (this is official data from two days ago.) Among them are more men, 51 percent, while 49 percent are women.

By municipality, Vozdovac, Zvezdara and New Belgrade lead in the number of coronavirus cases in Belgrade. The least infected municipality is Sopot, where the number of patients is in the single digits, followed by Barajevo.

Namely, according to the data from the Office for IT and e-Government of the government of Serbia, 159 people have been infected in Vozdovac, 147 in Zvezdara and 143 in New Belgrade.

In Palilula, there are 135 confirmed coronavirus cases, 132 in Zemun, 103 in Cukarica, 82 in Rakovica and 68 in Vracar. Stari Grad has 58 cases, Obrenovac three less - 55, while Grocka and Surcin have 46 and 41, respectively.

There are 36 coronavirus cases in Savski Venac, 28 in Lazarevac, 27 in Mladenovac, 16 in Barajevo and 7 in Sopot.

Age structure

Coronavirus has been confirmed in all age groups in Belgrade, including among the youngest residents. A majority of those infected are between 40 and 49 years of age.

There are 12 children up to 9 years old among those sick, as many as there are among those between the ages of 10 and 19. Between the ages of 20 and 29, 110 cases have been confirmed, and 216 in the 30-39 demographic.

The 40 to 49 age group is the most affected: 306 have tested positive in Belgrade.

There are 280 Covid-19 cases aged 50 to 59 182 aged 60 to 69, and 106 aged 70 and 79.

In the 80-89 age group, coronavirus has been confirmed in 51 people, while among those 90 and over, 8 have been infected.
