This time when all our compatriots are forced to stay in quarantine leads us to start thinking about some of the nicer places we could be spending our time in during this period. Even though, it's true, there's no place like home.

But it's also true that staying put in one and the same space for a prolongued period of time can very much bore us.

All the more so since life in the city has its advantages and disadvantages. One of the drawbacks is certainly the lack of open spaces, unless you are lucky enough to live in a house with a spacious, well-kept garden. Those of you enjoying those living conditions will certainly find it easier to endure the period of compulsory home isolation, and the reduction of social contact due to coronavirus.

With that in mind, we came up with three mountains in Serbia where your self-isolation would certainly not be a problem. Of course there are many more mountains in our country where you can take a break and enjoy the fresh air - with or without any ongoing virus pandemic - but these three are our choices.
