Dr. Kon: Epidemic is the biggest catastrophe, we've reached maximum, it will last another 10 days
Epidemiologist Predrag Kon, speaking at a press conference that began at 3 pm, stated that in the last three days we reached the maximum of the coronavirus epidemic, which will last for another 10 days.
"In these two weeks, it is important that we implement the most restrictive measures we have planned. All measures must be taken to prevent all contact, because then there is the highest activity of the virus, then it is the most able to transmit through a huge number of people," said Kon.
He added, "there is no more playing wth isolation is implemented."
"It is carried out under hospital conditions and (field) hospitals have been built so that it doesn't happen to us that the virus is brought back into society from home isolation, this should not happen to us. Isolation is absolutely the most important, including all the measures we have been taken so far," the epidemiologist warned, adding that it is extremely important that all workers who have the symptoms be isolated.
"The epidemic is the biggest catastrophe, affecting all systems," said Dr. Predrag Kon.
In the past 24 hours, three more people infected with coronavirus have died, whiled a total of 2,447 people have been infected.
