In Serbia, 2,200 people now confirmed to have coronavirus: 292 new cases in last 24 hours
A total of 2,200 confirmed cases of COVID 19 were registered in the Republic of Serbia by 3 pm on April 6, 2020. In the last 24 hours, another 292 have been confirmed.
Since the last report until 3 pm today, samples from 1,192 more people have been tested, of which 292 came back positive. 1,197 patients have been hospitalized.
There are a currently a total of 101 patients on ventilators.
Since the start of the epidemic, by 3 pm today in the Republic of Serbia, a total of 8,552 persons had been tested who met a criteria for definition of the case.
Unfortunately, since the previous report, we also have a further seven deaths, bringing the death toll to 58.
4 women and 3 men died of coronavorus over the last 24 hours.
Their average age is 64.5 and they all had other diseases that contributed to the fatal outcome.
