New, stricter measure to stop coronavirus: Ada, Kosutnjak, picnic spots in Serbia to shut down?
The next set of measures to combat coronavirus could be related to the closure of the Ada Ciganlija river island in Belgrade, Kosutnjak Park, and other major promenades and picnic spots, Telegraf has been able to confirm.
The last measure taken by the authorities was to extend the curfew on the weekends from 3 pm to 5 am, and one of the reasons was the disregard of the warnings to isolate given by top government officials and experts.
Despite this, many people went outside on Sunday, and despite the fact that curfew began at 3 pm, many Belgraders found themselves on the streets of the capital and had to pay a fine for that.
There were big taffic jams on the Mostar Loop, while the police punished anyone who did not respect the new measures of the Serbian government.
If this practice continues, we can expect a new set of measures in the coming days, and one of them is the closure of parks and picnic spots this coming weekend.
