Our diplomat in Geneva who was in serious condition treated with water from washbowl, charged €7,550
Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic says that the condition of two Serbian diplomats infected with coronavirus is good and that there have been no other cases of infection in their ranks.
"They are good now. After one difficult day, when that other diplomat was in serious condition and one of his lung virtually shut down, he is now doing better," he told TV Prva.
However, he pointed to the fact that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia received an invoice for four days of hospital treatment and that it comes to 8,000 Swiss francs (€7,552).
"His stay in the hospital was charged 8,000 francs for four days. They were lowering his temperature by using a sponge and water from a washbowl. Well, let the public know how some healthcare systems are affected by the coronavirus situation," Dacic said, pointing out that there are no other cases in Serbia's diplomatic corps.
He added that not much has been said about this to avoid the spread of additional panic.
Coronavirus was detected in two Serbian diplomats from the Serbian mission in Geneva as they were tested after the first symptoms appeared.
