The first case of coronavirus in the Serbian government

B.B., who works in the Ministry of Environment, has been infected with coronavirus, Republika is reporting.

He is from Kikinda, a city that is one of the focal points of the coronavirus epidemic in Serbia.

Everyone from the Ministry where the infected person works, who has been in contact with him, has been isolated, while Minister Goran Trivan only contacted him and everyone else with whom the infected person had personal contact by phone.

The man was transferred to the Clinic for Infectious Diseases in Belgrade seven days ago, when he felt ill, and was immediately found to be coronavirus positive.

"I have not been in contact with him for weeks because my cabinet is in the Palace of Serbia 1, while he sits in another building," Minister Trivan has told Kurir, adding he himself continues to work and is not in isolation.
