Serb Republic minister gets infected with virus in a café: Members of government tested
Serb Republic (RS) Prime Minister Radovan Viskovic said today that everyone in the RS government who had contact with Zlatan Klokic, the RS minister of European integration and international cooperation, has been tested for coronavirus and the results were negative.
Viskovic says ministers who have been in contact with Klokic will not be in isolation, since they have tested negative, Srpskainfo reports.
"They are carrying out their activities regularly and we do most of the work by telephone," says Viskovic.
Also, the secretary at the Ministry of Economic Affairs is positive, Viskovic said, while Klokic's driver tested negative.
The RS prime minister pointed out that Minister Klokic was in contact in a café with persons who were later found to be positive.
"Klokic's secretary was also in the café and felt symptoms afterwards and went into isolation," stated Viskovic.
Viskovic said that the peak of the epidemic in the RS can be expected in the next ten to 15 days and that it is better to stay at home and not be exposed to risk.
"I urge our citizens, above all, the elderly, to minimize their movements and going outside," he said.
It is necessary, he added, for each of us to act responsibly.
Viskovic also said that self-isolation decisions issued by inspectors must be observed.
