Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will address the public tonight at 8 pm, Tanjug has learned from the Office of the President of the Republic.

The topic of the address will be the current developments regarding coronavirus.

The state has taken a series of measures to combat coronavirus and protect citizens - and when it comes to political events, all rallies have been postponed until after April 1.

As for Serbia's parliamentary elections scheduled for April 26, the president of Serbia said that they will not be canceled, but depending on the situation - the voting could be postponed.

"If the situation gets much more difficult, we know what the rules are under the Constitution. I cannot know it now. If there is a delay, it could possibly be for up to two weeks, there is no reason for more," the president said during yesterday's press conference.
