Flour, sugar... are already gone from the shelves

In some supermarkets, especially in Belgrade, citizens have been buying larger quantities of certain foods today, leaving some shelves completely or half empty.

Cooking oil, sugar, flour and hygiene products such as wet wipes are sold the most, while other products are being bought in pharmacies and drugstores.

Citizens who have contacted our newsroom say crowds in supermarkets have been noticeable since the early hours of the morning.

To our knowledge, supermarkets are currently stocked and have enough supplies, and as we have been told, the general situation in the country and the recommendations from the authorities will be monitored before introducing some additional measures.

Take a look at what some shelves look like in our gallery, and let us know in the comments if you noticed a similar situation.
