Boy, 10 carried out of Cair with bloodied head: Horror at eternal derby, child nearly killed!
Unfortunately, the eternal derby once again brought back some difficult scenes in the sporting venue Cair! During the final of the Radivoj Korac Cup played in Nis, where Partizan basketball club beat Red Star to win the trophy, a ten-year-old boy got injured.
At the very end of the match, he was hit in the head with a glass bottle while sitting in the stands with his father.
The boy hemorrhaged a lot, but an ambulance crew was at the scene to stop the bleeding and treated a cut the boy had on the right side of his head.
After receiving first aid, the boy was transferred to the Clinic for Pediatric Surgery.
Telegraf's reporter who was in Cair at one point noticed the boy being taken out of the arena. While several people were carrying the boy outside in their arms, the others looked in disbelief at the child, who, according to eyewitnesses, was covered in blood.
People standing next to the fence blocked the view so the moment when the injured boy was taken from the stands is not recorded clearly.
