Djokovic and Ronaldo train together: Cristiano teaches Novak to perform his monstrous jump!
Novak Djokovic is preparing for the Australian Open - with Cristiano Ronaldo, no less! They are both currently in Dubai, where they met in a gym!
Cristiano was recently in the spotlight for a monstrous jump when he scored one of the most spectacular goals of his career, by jumping an incredible 2.56 meters, effectively skipping over an opponent and scoring a header.
He was now teaching Novak Djokovic some tricks that would allow him to jump in this way. They set a rope at a certain height and tried to touch it with their heads. Ronaldo showed Djokovic several times what he needed to do. The first time, our tennis player failed, but after a new joint attempt Novak succeeded, to the delight of everyone at the gym, followed by a friendly hug between Ronaldo and Novak.
"Teaching Novak Djokovic how to jump! Was a pleasure to see you and train with you my friend!!," the footballer wrote on Instagram.
See what that looked like in the video at the top of the page.
Novak Djokovic will this year play for record prize money at the Australian Open, the highest prize fund in the history of this Grand Slam event.
The Melbourne tournament will be played from January 20 to February 2.
