Op. Armageddon: Pedophiles who sent gruesome messages, asked kids for photos arrested across Serbia
Members of the Ministry of the Interior, the Department for Suppression of High-Tech Crime, in cooperation with the Special Department for Combating HighTech Crime with the Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, have arrested three people on suspicion that they committed multiple offenses.
B.DJ. (23) from Kovacica, P.M. (36) from Jagodina and P.D. (44) from Novi Sad have been arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of Presenting, Obtaining and Possessing Pornographic Material and Using a Minor for Pornography, while B.DJ. and P.M. are also charged with the commission of criminal offense of sexual harassment.
During the searches of apartments and other premises used by the suspects the police found material generated through child abuse for pornographic purposes.
It is suspected that B.DJ. and P.M., over a lengthy period of time used social networks to send messages of a sexual nature to minors and ask them to send them their nude photographs.
The suspects have been detained for up to 48 hours after which they will be brought to the Special Department for Combating High-Tech Crime of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, along with criminal complaints.
