Serbian (22) killed in downtown Bratislava: Police release video of these men and photos from a bar
A 22-year-old foreign national was killed in the center of Bratislava on Sunday, December 8. Even two days after the crime the police are yet to arrest the killer. The victim has not yet been officially identified, but media reports said he was a Serbian citizen.
The brutal killing happened around 5 a.m. on Sunday in a square outside the main post office in Bratislava's central area.
According to Slovak media, the victim is a 22-year-old Serbian citizen who died after receiving a blow to the head.
The police have released a video that allegedly shows Serbian citizens aged between 22 and 35, and have urged all those who recognize the persons from the video to contact them.
The video shows a group of people eating and talking in the square, where allegedly the introduction to the clash took place. However, the fight itself, which led to the death of the foreigner, was not captured on video.
The recording ends when one person approaches the group.
However, the police have not yet announced who is suspected of the murder.
"Persons for whom the police are looking for can help solve the case," the police wrote on Facebook.
The police also released several photos that were likely taken from surveillance cameras installed on surrounding buildings. They show the men who were in the bar and in the shop that night.
Media reports say that this is the second incident that ended in the murder of a foreign national in downtown Bratislava in less than two years.
