Serbian president attends opening of Chinese factory in Kragujevac
In a ribbon-cutting ceremony today, a factory of China's Yanfeng Automotive Interiors was opened in Kragujevac. It will produce components for car interiors of world-renowned carmakers, such as Mercedes.
To open the production line, the red ribbon was cut by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Chinese Ambassador Chen Bo, Kragujevac Mayor Radomir Nikolic, representatives of the factory, as well as workers' representative Anka Duricic.
Chinese company Yanfeng Automotive Interiors is a global leader in manufacturing interior equipment for cars.
It is headquartered in Shanghai and has about 110 manufacturing facilities and technical centers in 20 countries and employing more than 32,000 workers around the world who design, develop and manufacture internal components for automakers.

The Chinese company's new production space in Kragujevac spreads on 18,500 square meters, initially creating 200 jobs - but as the plant is designed for 800 workers, their number will gradually increase from year to year.
