Two people die in "tornado" near Indjija: Truck and car collide during the storm

Two people were killed in a truck-car collision at the Indjija loop and three more were injured, Telegraf.rs has been able to confirm.

The passengers from the car are the victims. The crash is suspected to have occurred at a time when a strong tornado-like wind hit the Indjija area and caused complete chaos and collapse.

The video shows the devastating power of this wind, reminiscent of a tornado.

The accident happened in the direction of Belgrade, in the zone of road works.

The Novi Sad highway is currently closed in both directions near the Indjija loop.

Ambulances and firefighters were immediately dispatched to the scene.

"All our crews are on the ground," Indjija Emergency Medical Service told Telegraf.rs.
