Unannounced phone call between Vucic and special US envoy for the Balkans: This was the topic
President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic spoke last night with the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Matthew Palmer.
In an open and concrete conversation, a continuation of their recent meeting in New York, President Vucic reiterated that Serbia will continue to strive towards reaching a real and sustainable compromise in resolving the Kosovo and Metohija issue, while protecting the interests of Serbs there, as well as national and state interests of Serbia.
The two interlocutors also discussed the overall regional situation and agreed that peace and stability in the Western Balkans are of essential importance for political and economic progress of the entire region.
President Vucic and US official Palmer have agreed to meet again in the next ten days.
