Children and drugs - 2 things that dominate the profile of uncle who gave kids ecstasy pills (PHOTO)

Perica D. from Novi Pazar, who was arrested on suspicion that he gave ecstasy pills to his brother's children (aged 3 and 6), did not hide his choices on social media either. His Facebook profile is filled with precisely these two things - pictures of the two children, and references to narcotics.

Perica's captions below the pictures showing the boy and the girl playing or being hugged by him don't hide his attachment to them, often reading, "my darlings."

Yet mixed with the pictures of the children are those of a joint on a piece of embroidery, then a purple hemp flower whose street name is "Good Shit Cannabis Strain." Then there is a photo of a girl smoking a bong in front of a police car, with a caption in English, "I love grass," as well as a tattoo of a smoke-wrapped marijuana leaf, that it's unclear if it belongs to him.

Perica D. was arrested last night for giving ecstasy pills to his niece and nephew, aged six and three.

It is suspected that he gave the children one tablet each. Soon, they started acting strange and complaining that they were not feeling well, so their mother immediately took them to the doctor. The unfortunate children looked stunned and disoriented, and the examination revealed the presence of narcotics in their bodies.

Given their small build, what would give an adult instant gratification could have ended up killing the children.

"Therapies for detoxification and gastric lavage were immediately administered, and the boy and the girl were kept for observation overnight, after which they felt well and exhibited no complications. The reaction was swift, this amount of narcotics is not harmless at all considering their body weight. This is comparable to, for example, an adult taking 6-7 ecstasy tablets at once," - say the doctors at the General Hospital in Novi Pazar.

"On the order of the competent prosecutor, Perica D. was put in custody for up to 48 hours. He is suspected of committing the criminal offenses of unauthorized production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs and facilitating the use of narcotic drugs," said the police in Novi Pazar.
