Zlatibor, Zlatar, Divcibare, Stara Planina, Kopaonik... our athletes conquering not only medals and points, but also our mountains.
Some have turned to agriculture, some own cafes and restaurants, while others, mostly successful basketball players, passed the ball over to the mountains. There they have already built, or are building, their little empires.

Among them is famed basketball player Milos Teodosic. He is building a hotel complex on Mt. Divcibare with 80 rooms, a congress hall, a fitness center, a gym, four basketball courts, and one each for volleyball, handball and football. Work is well underway, and the future hotel's Instagram account says the opening is coming soon.
Teodosic started building his hotel with his brother, although the media reported that former football players Dejan Stankovic and Marko Pantelic are also participating in the deal.

Basketball player Nikola Pekovic is creating a real business empire on Mt. Zlatibor. He owns a luxury hotel, a plot of land in the heart of Zlatibor, and has invested several million euros in building luxury villas.
Pekovic is not alone on this court, as former Partizan basketball player Miroslav Pecarski owns a hotel, more precisely, the Suncani Breg resort, while Dragan Kicanovic owns Hotel Olimp at the very entrance to the Zlatibor tourist center.
STARA MOUNTAIN, MIROTIC
The famous StarA Hotel with sports facilities on Stara Mountain, where the golden junior basketball team of Yugoslavia was training in 1987, has been sold to the company Slavinja 3 Plus, owned by NBA star Nikola Mirotic.
He has been the owner since 2018 and the plan is to completely demolish the complex in order to build a brand new structure.

Zeljko Topalović, the famed Red Star and Buducnost basketball player, opened his Zlatarski Zlatnik hotel on this mountain that is doing business successfully and, according to what we have learned, he plans to build another one.

Former footballers Savo Milosevic and Dragan Ciric own the hotel Srebrna Lisica, while Milosevic has announced the opening of another one.
In addition, volleyball legend Goran Vujovic has invested in the construction of the Ozon Hotel on this mountain. His friend in this business endeavor is Red Star footballer Ljubomir Cvetkovic.
Novak Djokovic, that is, his family, is also building on Mt. Kopaonik.
