Terror on Belgrade city bus lines: Migrants attacking drivers, even making beheading threats (VIDEO)

An incident has taken place at Sava Square, the starting point of the Belgrade city transportation line 860. It was recorded late last night when a group of migrants tried to get on a bus without buying tickets. The situation escalated after one of them went for a physical confrontation with the driver and completely lost control, only to be calmed down and restrained by other migrants.

This problem, however, is happening on a daily basis. The scenario is the same - a group of men trying to get on a bus, arguing with drivers and passengers, threatening, banging their fists...

"Last night, a group of young men on the bus calmed down the situation, otherwise we don't know how it would have ended. Every day we have problems with migrants who refuse to buy tickets, and instead argue with drivers and passengers. They make threats, they make gestures suggesting they will cut off the driver's head, shoot him... There have been no physical assaults on drivers, these are mostly threats, but they also sometimes bang their fists against against the windows," one of the carriers operating in Belgrade, Strela Ub, told us.

There is often no way for a driver to prevent such passengers from getting on the bus - and then other problems arise.

"They harass passengers, leave behind bottles, mess up the bus. Our people don't know what to do. There are always 4 to 6 in a group. It happens, for example, that six of them get on a bus buying three tickets. They refuse to leave and no one can throw them out," Strela Ub representatives told Telegraf.

As they say, their vehicles operating on the line to Obrenovac are new - and the company cannot allow in passengers, whether they are migrants or not, who will not pay for the ticket and who damage the buses.
