Latest poll: Progressives' approval rating at over 50 percent; here's how other parties stand

The most recent, July survey by the Faktor Plus agency found that the ruling Progressives (SNS) still have a stable rating of above 50 percent, and that 52.3 percent of citizens would vote for that party if elections were held in Serbia on Sunday.

According to Blic, the opposition Alliance for Serbia (SzS) would receive 11.2 percent of the vote, and the SPS, now a part of the ruling coalition, 9.5 percent.

In Serbia, only parties that receive more than 5 percent and thus cross the threshold have representatives in parliament. The only other party or coalition to exceed this threshold would be the Free Citizens Movement (PSG) with 5.3 percent, according to the poll.

Below the threshold, the same survey showed, would be the Radicals (SRS) with 4.8 percent, Aleksandar Sapic's SPAS and the pensioner party PUPS with 3.5 percent each, and the DSS with 2.9 percent - while 7 percent of all votes would go to "someone else."

If elections were held on Sunday, 48 percent of respondents said they would turn out and vote, 33 percent would not show up at the polling stations, while 19 percent said they have no stance.
